1 INTRODUCTION
1.1.This Cookie Policy is issued by HEX64 InfoSolutions Private Limited ("the Company", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the GrowStart AI platform accessible at https://growstart.ai/ ("the Platform"). It sets out our practices with respect to cookies and similar tracking technologies used on the Platform.
1.2.This Policy is issued in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable information technology rules, to the extent that cookie data constitutes or relates to personal data.
1.3.By continuing to use the Platform after this Cookie Policy is brought to your attention, and by accepting cookies through the Platform's consent mechanism, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this Policy. You may withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time in the manner described in Section 6.
2 WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
2.1.Cookies: Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) by a website when you visit it. Cookies allow the website to recognise your device and store certain information about your preferences or actions over time. Cookies are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website operators.
2.2.Types by Duration: Cookies can be classified by how long they remain on your device:
•Session Cookies: Temporary cookies that are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used to keep you logged in during a single visit and to maintain your session state.
•Persistent Cookies: Cookies that remain on your device for a specified period (the "expiry period") or until you manually delete them. They are used to remember your preferences across multiple visits.
2.3.Types by Origin: Cookies can also be classified by who places them:
•First-Party Cookies: Cookies set directly by the Platform (i.e., by the Company or its server). These are used exclusively to operate and improve the Platform.
•Third-Party Cookies: Cookies set by domains other than the Platform's own domain for example, cookies set by Razorpay when you access the payment interface, or by analytics service providers. Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the respective third parties.
2.4.Similar Technologies: In addition to cookies, the Platform may use similar technologies such as:
•Local Storage: A browser-based storage mechanism used to store data locally on your device, functioning similarly to persistent cookies.
•Session Storage: A browser-based storage mechanism that stores data only for the duration of a browser session.
•Pixel Tags / Web Beacons: Small transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that record when a page or email is accessed, used for analytics purposes.
References to "cookies" in this Policy include all such similar technologies unless otherwise stated.
3 WHY WE USE COOKIES
3.1.We use cookies on the Platform for the following purposes, grouped by category:
3.1.1.Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled without impairing Platform functionality. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies. Strictly necessary cookies enable core Platform functions including:
•maintaining your authenticated login session;
•securing form submissions against cross-site request forgery;
•routing requests to the correct server;
•storing your cookie consent preference so you are not asked repeatedly;
•enabling the subscription plan gating that controls Feature access.

•Tracking your on-boarding progress and completed feature tours;
•Storing your subscription tier to personalise the Platform interface.
Functional cookies do not track your browsing activity on other websites. Disabling functional cookies may affect the quality of your experience on the Platform but will not prevent access.
3.1.3.Analytics and Performance Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how Users interact with the Platform, which Features are most used, and where the Platform can be improved. Analytics data is collected in an anonymised or pseudonymised form and is used only in the aggregate. Analytics cookies enable:
•tracking aggregate Feature usage and AI call patterns;
•measuring page load times, error rates, and Platform performance;
•understanding how Users navigate through the Platform;
•identifying and resolving usability issues;
•measuring the effectiveness of our marketing channels (via UTM tracking).
•Analytics cookies require your consent. You may opt out of analytics cookies through the Platform's cookie preference centre.
3.1.4.Third-Party Cookies
Certain third-party services integrated into the Platform may set their own cookies. These include:
•Razorpay Software Private Limited: Cookies set in connection with the payment processing interface, required for secure payment transactions. These cookies are strictly necessary and are governed by Razorpay's privacy policy.
•In-Platform Chat or Support Provider (if applicable): Cookies set by any third-party customer support or chat service embedded in the Platform, used to maintain support session state. These are governed by the respective provider's privacy policy.

5 COOKIES AND PERSONAL DATA
5.1.Some cookies used on the Platform collect or process information that constitutes personal data under the DPDP Act for example, session identifiers linked to your User Account, or device identifiers used to recognise returning visitors.
5.2.Where cookie data constitutes or is linked to personal data, it is processed in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy, which sets out the lawful basis for processing, data retention periods, your rights as a Data Principal, and the Company's data security measures. The Privacy Policy is available on the Platform.
5.3.First-party analytics cookies collect data in anonymised or pseudonymised form: The Company does not use cookie data to build detailed personal profiles of individual Users for commercial purposes beyond the operation and improvement of the Platform.
5.4.Cross-Border Transfer: Where third-party analytics or functional service providers process cookie data outside India (including in the United States), this constitutes a cross-border transfer of data. The Company processes such transfers on the basis of User consent obtained through the cookie consent mechanism. Further details of cross-border transfers are set out in the Privacy Policy.
6 YOUR COOKIE CHOICES AND HOW TO CONTROL COOKIES
6.1.Cookie Consent Mechanism: When you first visit the Platform, a cookie consent banner will be displayed. Through this banner, you may:
•accept all cookies (including functional and analytics cookies);
•reject all non-essential cookies (functional and analytics cookies will be disabled; strictly necessary cookies will remain active);
•customise your preferences by category, accepting or rejecting specific cookie categories.
Your consent choices will be stored in a cookie consent preference cookie and applied on subsequent visits. You may change your preferences at any time through the cookie preference settings accessible on the Platform.
6.2.Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time by:
•accessing the cookie preference centre on the Platform;
•clearing all cookies in your browser settings - note that this will delete your session and you will need to log in again; or
•blocking cookies in your browser settings as described in Clause 6.3 below.
Withdrawal of consent to non-essential cookies will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without materially impairing Platform functionality.
6.3.Browser-Level Cookie Controls: You can control cookies at the browser level, independently of the Platform's consent mechanism. Most browsers allow you to:
•view which cookies are set on your device;
•delete individual cookies or all cookies;
•block cookies from specific websites;
•block all third-party cookies;
•receive a notification before a cookie is placed.
The following table provides guidance on cookie settings for common browsers:
| Browser | Cookie Settings Location |
|---|---|
| Google Chrome | Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data |
| Mozilla Firefox | Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data |
| Microsoft Edge | Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions → Cookies and Site Data |
| Apple Safari | Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data |
| Opera | Settings → Advanced → Privacy & Security → Site Settings → Cookies |
Disabling strictly necessary cookies through your browser settings will impair the Platform's functionality, including preventing login and disabling AI features. The Company recommends using the Platform's cookie preference centre to manage non-essential cookies rather than disabling all cookies at the browser level.
6.4.Do Not Track Signals: Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals to websites. The Platform does not currently respond to DNT signals, as no industry-wide standard for DNT compliance has been established. Users wishing to limit tracking may use the cookie preference centre or browser-level controls described above.
6.5.Mobile Applications: If the Platform is accessed through a mobile application, cookie controls may differ from browser-based controls. Mobile device settings for advertising identifiers and tracking may be adjusted through the device's privacy settings. Specific guidance for the Platform's mobile application will be provided in the application's settings.
7 CONSEQUENCES OF DISABLING COOKIES
7.1.Disabling or deleting cookies may affect your use of the Platform. The following table illustrates the impact of disabling each cookie category:
| Cookie Category Disabled | Impact on Platform Use |
|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Platform will not function correctly. Login will fail. AI features will be inaccessible. Subscription management will be unavailable. Payment processing will be impaired. |
| Functional | Language and locale preferences will not be remembered. Onboarding progress will not be saved. The Platform will not personalise the interface to your subscription tier. You may be shown repeated onboarding tours. |
| Analytics | Your usage will not be included in aggregate Platform analytics. This does not affect Platform functionality but reduces the Company's ability to improve the Platform based on usage data. |
8 THIRD-PARTY COOKIE POLICIES
8.1.Third-party service providers integrated with the Platform manage their own cookies and are responsible for their own cookie compliance. The Company is not responsible for the cookies set by third parties. Users are encouraged to review the privacy and cookie policies of the following third-party providers:
| Third Party | Privacy / Cookie Policy Reference |

9.2.Where cookies are added, removed, or materially changed, the Company will update the cookie inventory table in Section 4 and, where the change is material, display a fresh cookie consent banner to obtain updated consent.
